He has brought about two books on Hindi poetry “EK Aur Awaz” and “Aam Log”. “Aam Log’ was highly appreciated in the academic circles and a few students of Kurukshetra University did their Master of philosophy on the book. His poems have been telecasted on Doordarshan and All India Radio and appreciated in Academic Circles.
He edited and published a manuscript on Hand-writing analysis. The Manu-script was first written by his grandfather Pt. Gopal Krishan Gaur, who was freedom fighter from Haryana.

He got his early education in Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pardesh. He completed his Honours School in Economics from Neki Ram Sharma Govt. College, Rohtak and completed his Post Graduation in Law (LLM) and English Literature (MA) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and LLB from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He started his career as a Lecturer in Govt. Collage, Narnaul and L.M. Hindu Collage, Rohtak. He was selected twice in the allied services of IAS but did not join. He stood second in Haryana Civil Services Examination in 1978 and joined Civil Services in 1979. He excelled in Academics as well as in extra- curricular activities as Graduate and Post Graduate levels. He was awarded Roll of Honour by Neki Ram Sharma Govt. College, Rohtak and was position holder in English Literature at P.G. Level. He was a member of the Students Association beside Chief Editor of the Collage Magazine.

He is an Authority in the field of Astrology. He was awarded with a Degree of Jyotish Vachaspati by Dr. B.V. Raman, for his outstanding contribution in the field of Vedic Astrology.
